YouTube's TV and Media Solutions team is seeking an Operations Manager to join their dynamic team focused on accelerating YouTube's TV and Originals businesses. The position offers an opportunity to work with cutting-edge video streaming technology while managing critical operations for YouTube TV and Premium services. The ideal candidate will bring 2 years of experience in media industry or OTT, along with strong project management skills. You'll need to be comfortable with technical aspects including SQL analysis, XML schemas, and metadata troubleshooting, while also excelling at cross-functional collaboration and vendor management.

Responsibilities For Operations Manager, TV Partner Engineering and Operations

  • Manage day-to-day digital operations for YouTube TV, Primetime Channels and media-related products
  • Monitor the health of VOD delivery systems
  • Leverage expertise in video technologies to design operational processes
  • Define, manage, and review operational metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to guide investments in operational processes and tools

Requirements For Operations Manager, TV Partner Engineering and Operations

  • Bachelor's degree in Media Production, Business or equivalent practical experience
  • 2 years of experience in media industry or OTT
  • 2 years of experience in product operations and project management in the media
  • Experience in video-on-demand, including XML schema, metadata troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of operational excellence and delivering high-quality 24/7 service
  • Ability to use SQL to analyze datasets
  • Ability to lead and grow in a highly cross-functional team environment
