YouTube is seeking a Partner Engineer to join their Device Platform Operations team, working at the intersection of technology and creativity. Responsibilities For Partner Engineer, YouTube Device Platform Operations

  • Lead implementation reviews, advocate new product features, and ensure the prompt and proper resolution of technical issues
  • Improve product feature offerings by providing partner feedback to internal cross-functional teams
  • Ensure the technical aspects of a partner's integration by providing necessary documentation and technical guidance
  • Identify, drive, and optimize the business flow from new existing and new business opportunities
  • Work closely with System on a Chip (SoC) partners in the region to accelerate and improve YouTube integrations

Requirements For Partner Engineer, YouTube Device Platform Operations

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 4 years of experience in software program management
  • Experience with C/C++, Java or Go programming languages, Unix/Linux systems, and scripting in Shell, Perl, or Python
  • Experience troubleshooting using various web technologies
  • Experience working with embedded devices, Consumer Electronics manufacturers, SoC providers, and Pay TV Operators
  • Familiarity with Reference Design Kit (RDK), Android TV or similar TV platform architecture
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Outstanding organizational, prioritization, and multitasking skills
