Responsibilities For Senior Director, Technical Program Management, YouTube Resource Management
- Set vision and execution of organizational direction for broad, cross-organization budgets, planning, and projects for YouTube
- Partner with executive leadership engineering and product managers to ensure alignment with engineering and product priorities
- Lead and inspire an organization of technical program managers and software engineers
- Lead and drive regular reviews and process for efficient decision-making and resource allocation
- Present insights to YouTube's most senior engineering leadership and find ways to improve collaboration
Requirements For Senior Director, Technical Program Management, YouTube Resource Management
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- 15 years of experience in software engineering, hardware engineering, or supply chain domains
- 10 years of experience building, planning, and deploying machine learning infrastructure or distributed systems
- 5 years of experience leading teams within technical program management
- Experience with large-scale, distributed infrastructure in public/private cloud context
- Excellent written and verbal communication, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
