Software Engineer III, Full Stack, YouTube

As a Software Engineer III, Full Stack at YouTube, you will:

• Write product or system development code
• Participate in or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders
• Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback
• Contribute to existing documentation or educational content
• Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve them

You'll work at the intersection of cutting-edge technology and boundless creativity, moving at the speed of culture with a shared goal to show people the world. This role requires expertise in full stack development, including back-end languages like Java, Python, GO, or C++, and front-end technologies such as JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
• 2 years of experience with software development and data structures/algorithms
• 2 years of experience with full stack development
• Preferably, experience with performance, large scale systems data analysis, visualization tools, or debugging
• Proficiency in code and system health, diagnosis and resolution, and software test engineering
