Software Engineer III, Mobile (Android), YouTube Shorts Creation

Shorts is a re-think of the YouTube product experience, designed for mobile creation, vertical viewing, and a broad creator base. The Shorts Creation team aims to make YouTube the best platform for creators to get started and succeed through industry-leading tools and experiences that make it easy to create engaging Shorts. The role involves building out the creation platform to better scale features, onboard partner teams, increase developer velocity, and share components across broader YouTube creation. You'll launch high-impact creation features end-to-end that millions of creators will see every day, collaborate across many other YouTube creation teams, and be exposed to a variety of technologies across client, server, cross-platform, logging, and metrics.
