Responsibilities For Software Engineer, Match System, YouTube

  • Work with the leads of the Match System Infrastructure to design and implement advancements of Match System technology
  • Launch new client use cases (e.g. detect reuse of audio across all videos on YouTube)
  • Launch new types of content (e.g. scan YouTube uploads to detect Artificial Intelligence generated music)
  • Launch new algorithms (e.g. novel indexing algorithm)

Requirements For Software Engineer, Match System, YouTube

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or in a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 2 years of experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure or distributed systems
  • Experience in software engineering and with programming language like C++
  • Experience with system design
  • Knowledge of the YouTube ecosystem (preferred)
  • Ability to work well in a cross-functional team environment with a focus on knowledge sharing and collaboration (preferred)
