- Lead complex projects by working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate with cross-functional partners
- Analyze usage trends and partner with engineers to estimate and acquire resources for feature launches
- Become a subject-matter-expert and consultant on technical and financial trade-offs in data-center resource management
- Provide supply-chain and infrastructure teams with a rolling 18-month forecast that aligns to budget endorsements
- Partner with YouTube resource management engineering to design and build tooling to help scale the planning process
- Triage resource-requests to fund new launches, system-migrations, and infrastructure projects
- Ideate efficiency opportunities to scale resources sublinear to demand growth
- Manage reserves policy and processes to meet annual goals
Requirements For Technical Program Manager III, Infrastructure Resource Management, YouTube
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- 5 years of experience in program management
- Experience in data center infrastructure resource planning and cost of resources
- 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects
- Familiarity with programming (Python, SQL, etc.)
- Excellent technical aptitude with the ability to learn quickly
