The position offers a competitive base salary range of $142,000-$211,000 plus additional benefits and equity.

The ideal candidate will bring 5 years of program management experience, with a strong technical background and proven ability to manage cross-functional projects. You'll be working with cutting-edge video technology, leading initiatives that impact billions of users globally through features like 4K, VR, HFR, HDR, and powering major YouTube products including Music, Gaming, Live, and YouTube TV.

In this role, you'll be responsible for driving technical initiatives from conception to completion, working closely with engineering teams across YouTube and Google. You'll need to balance technical expertise with strong project management skills, being equally comfortable discussing technical details with engineers and presenting to executives.

Responsibilities For Technical Program Manager III, Video Infrastructure, YouTube

  • Lead video infrastructure key initiatives, identify and investigate issues, define success metrics, develop project plans and roadmaps
  • Drive cross-functional collaborative efforts across YouTube video infrastructure
  • Identify and prioritize team needs and implement processes, tools, and communications
  • Provide project management for engineering and product efforts
  • Apply technical knowledge to make progress, resolve problems on technical issues

Requirements For Technical Program Manager III, Video Infrastructure, YouTube

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years of experience in program management
  • Experience with infrastructure systems
