Responsibilities For Test Engineer, YouTube

  • Develop scalable and reliable automated tests for testing YouTube products on all platforms
  • Define and develop infrastructure to improve automation and developer velocity
  • Drive to improve software Quality assurance (QA) processes and methodologies
  • Work with cross-functional teams and strive to come up with optimal and creative solutions
  • Work in conjunction with a well reviewed, growing, and supportive team on large cross-team engineering efforts
  • Build custom dashboards and metrics to provide signals on quality trends

Requirements For Test Engineer, YouTube

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 3 years of experience developing automated test and test suite automation using object oriented scripting languages (Python, Java, C/C++, etc.)
  • Experience with test automation methodologies like webdriver, earl grey, espresso on all platforms
  • Experience with integration, infrastructure, and tools development
