Web Solutions Engineer, Music, TV, Deal Systems, YouTube

In this role as a Web Solutions Engineer for YouTube's Music, TV, and Deal Systems, you will be responsible for designing and developing software-based solutions to solve complex business problems. You'll collaborate with an experienced product and engineering team to build and enhance systems at the core of YouTube's business. The position requires a strong background in full-stack software development, with a focus on front-end and back-end languages, as well as database technologies.

Key responsibilities include designing scalable systems and applications, developing web applications using Angular, TypeScript, Python, and Java, collaborating with Product Leads and stakeholders, and working across YouTube's engineering teams to integrate solutions into the broader ecosystem.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in full-stack software development, with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. Preferred qualifications include experience in designing and optimizing databases, working with cloud or microservice architectures, and collaborating with business stakeholders on project requirements.

This position offers a competitive salary range of $99,000 to $145,000, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
