Yubico, the inventor of the YubiKey, is seeking a talented Solutions Engineer to join their security revolution. In this role, you'll establish technical credibility with prospective clients, work closely with sales reps and channel partners, and help achieve customer goals using Yubico solutions. You'll be responsible for becoming a subject matter expert on Yubico's products, strategizing with sales reps, building relationships with prospects and customers, delivering successful Proofs of Concept, and contributing to solutions development. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience in technical customer interaction roles, knowledge of security technologies, excellent communication and project management skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment. Responsibilities For Sales Engineer / Solutions Engineer, Central (Commercial)

  • Establish yourself as a resident subject matter expert on Yubico's products and ecosystem
  • Strategize with sales reps to help achieve target sales quotas
  • Build strong relationships with prospects and establish technical credibility
  • Maintain relationships with existing customers and look for expansion opportunities
  • Build and deliver successful Proofs of Concept (PoCs)
  • Communicate with engineering and marketing regarding customer requirements
  • Assist with solutions development to expand to new target markets and industries
  • Improve customer experience through conferences, workshops, and documentation
  • Contribute to an amazing work culture and environment
  • Support the rapid, unpredictable nature of a young innovative company
  • Work with customers remotely and in person
  • Travel: Expected to be 20-40%

Requirements For Sales Engineer / Solutions Engineer, Central (Commercial)

  • 4 or more years of experience in roles that require direct technical customer interaction
  • Able to configure and install enterprise technologies including network infrastructure, virtualization, web applications, Windows, Mac, and Linux
  • Knowledge of commonly used security technologies and protocols
  • Excellent written and oral business communication skills
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Ability to collaborate across geographically dispersed functions
