Responsibilities For Sales Engineer / Solutions Engineer, Public Sector (FedCiv)

  • Establish technical credibility with prospective clients
  • Strategize with sales reps to help achieve target sales quotas
  • Build and deliver successful Proofs of Concept (PoCs)
  • Maintain relationships with existing customers
  • Communicate with engineering and marketing regarding customer requirements
  • Assist with solutions development
  • Improve customer experience through conferences and workshops
  • Work with customers remotely and in person
  • Travel 20-40% of the time

Requirements For Sales Engineer / Solutions Engineer, Public Sector (FedCiv)

  • 4+ years of experience in technical customer interaction roles
  • 5+ years experience working in Federal, Federal Civilian
  • Knowledge of enterprise technologies including network infrastructure
  • Knowledge of security technologies and protocols
  • Understanding of Federal Government budget and procurement processes
  • Knowledge of Federal Government standards (NIST, FIPS, FICAM)
  • Excellent written and oral business communication skills
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
