Technical Consultant III (Software Developer 3)

As a Technical Consultant III (Software Developer 3) at Zafin, you'll be at the forefront of implementing cutting-edge software solutions for financial services clients. Reporting to the Director of Technology & Integration Services, you'll focus on developing high-performing, scalable, enterprise-grade applications using the latest frameworks and open-source technologies.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing software solutions through the entire SDLC
• Implementing efficient, testable code adhering to project requirements and standards
• Leading software projects from scoping to launch
• Collaborating on analysis, design reviews, and testing
• Documenting solutions with flowcharts, diagrams, and clear code comments
• Performing thorough unit testing and supporting defect resolution
• Conducting peer-to-peer code reviews and recommending process improvements
• Providing input on high-level designs
• Ensuring confidentiality of operations

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 6+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, preferably in an agile environment
• Expertise in Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, design patterns, Web Services, REST APIs, Apache Kafka, and Apache Nifi
• Experience with Eclipse, Maven, and source control (SVN, Git)
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented and functional design patterns
• Experience with PostgreSQL databases and JSON packages/schemas
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
