Responsibilities For Part-Time Lab Technician/Test Engineer
- Assemble and rework electronic components, including soldering, crimping, and creating wire harnesses
- Conduct tests on circuit boards and electronic systems, logging results and generating test reports
- Develop and maintain spec sheets for internal and external use
- Create and manage internal databases using Excel and Word for documentation purposes
- Assist with troubleshooting and diagnostics of electronic systems
- Support the team by maintaining lab equipment, organizing supplies, and ensuring smooth lab operations
- Collaborate with engineers to support testing and development projects
Requirements For Part-Time Lab Technician/Test Engineer
- Associate's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field; or 2 years undergraduate coursework
- Proficiency in soldering, wiring, and basic electronic assembly
- Familiarity with testing equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies) and logging results
- Strong skills in Word and Excel for documentation and databasing
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
