Responsibilities For Part-Time Lab Technician/Test Engineer

  • Assemble and rework electronic components, including soldering, crimping, and creating wire harnesses
  • Conduct tests on circuit boards and electronic systems, logging results and generating test reports
  • Develop and maintain spec sheets for internal and external use
  • Create and manage internal databases using Excel and Word for documentation purposes
  • Assist with troubleshooting and diagnostics of electronic systems
  • Support the team by maintaining lab equipment, organizing supplies, and ensuring smooth lab operations
  • Collaborate with engineers to support testing and development projects

Requirements For Part-Time Lab Technician/Test Engineer

  • Associate's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field; or 2 years undergraduate coursework
  • Proficiency in soldering, wiring, and basic electronic assembly
  • Familiarity with testing equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies) and logging results
  • Strong skills in Word and Excel for documentation and databasing
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
