As a Lab Technician/Test Engineer, you'll be directly involved in the development of cutting-edge battery technology and electronics, performing tasks ranging from component assembly to system testing.

Responsibilities For Lab Technician/Test Engineer

  • Assemble and rework electronic components, including soldering, crimping, and creating wire harnesses
  • Conduct tests on circuit boards and electronic systems, logging results and generating test reports
  • Develop and maintain spec sheets for internal and external use
  • Create and manage internal databases using Excel and Word for documentation purposes
  • Assist with troubleshooting and diagnostics of electronic systems
  • Support the team by maintaining lab equipment, organizing supplies, and ensuring smooth lab operations
  • Collaborate with engineers to support testing and development projects

Requirements For Lab Technician/Test Engineer

  • Associate's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field; or 2 years undergraduate coursework
  • Advanced proficiency in soldering and rework, including fine-pitch components, SMT, and through-hole soldering
  • Hands-on experience with rework stations and PCB repair techniques
  • Familiarity with testing equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies)
  • Strong skills in Word and Excel for documentation and databasing
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Experience in creating and interpreting spec sheets for electronics (preferred)
  • Knowledge of wire harness design and troubleshooting techniques (preferred)
  • Previous experience in a lab technician or test engineering role (preferred)
