Senior Software Engineer (Typescript and React)

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to work on a project in the e-commerce and website performance optimization sector. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play an important role in scaling, and optimizing our client's core platform and product offerings. Your expertise will drive significant technical improvements and enhance customer satisfaction through effective collaboration and technical contributions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Exert influence over team members in a collaborative culture
• Collaborate with the team to execute initiatives and the technical roadmap
• Assist in translating technical vision into actionable backlogs
• Develop and implement designs of engineering projects
• Solve complex technical problems effectively
• Work with the Product team to implement new features and enhance existing products
• Provide guidance and mentorship for junior engineers
• Foster conversations to remove blockers and encourage collaboration
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends

Requirements:

• 7+ years of software engineering experience
• Proficiency in Typescript, Python, Javascript
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS), infrastructure as code (e.g., Pulumi), and data storage solutions (e.g., Postgres, Redshift)
• Ability to implement scalable, distributed systems
• Proficiency in SQL and data analysis
• Experience in optimizing website performance and speed
• Understanding of browser optimization techniques
• Familiarity with content delivery networks, DNS, message queues, and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication
