Manager, Data Engineer

As the Data Engineering Manager reporting to the Director of Data & Analytics, you'll be at the forefront of advancing data engineering and self-service BI capabilities. This role combines technical leadership with people management, requiring someone who can design and develop robust data platforms while leading a team of engineers.

The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in data engineering, coupled with excellent communication skills to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders. You'll be responsible for creating and managing data pipelines, ensuring system stability, optimizing the data platform, and leading various data engineering projects from conception to execution.

Key responsibilities include managing team operations, mentoring data engineers, and fostering a high-performance culture. You'll serve as a subject matter expert in data, helping others succeed through your technical knowledge and outstanding communication abilities.

The position offers the flexibility of remote work, with the requirement of being based in Canada.
