As a Senior SRE, you will play a crucial role in driving the reliability, scalability, and performance of Zeal Group's infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include designing resilient systems, implementing automation, optimizing CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring seamless deployment and observability for services. You'll work with cutting-edge technologies like Kubernetes, Terraform, and various monitoring tools to maintain highly available systems.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in SRE or DevOps roles, strong Linux/Unix knowledge, and proficiency in programming languages like Python or Go. You should be comfortable with cloud platforms (particularly GCP), containerization, and infrastructure as code. Your expertise in incident management, performance tuning, and mentorship will be valuable in building a culture of reliability within the engineering organization.

Responsibilities For Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)
- Collaborate with software engineers and DevOps to design and implement resilient and scalable systems
- Develop and maintain infrastructure automation scripts and tools
- Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines
- Create, manage, and refine monitoring dashboards and alerting systems
- Lead incident response efforts and perform root cause analysis
- Conduct regular performance testing and tuning
- Guide and mentor other team members
Requirements For Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)
- 5+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and networking fundamentals
- Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, Go, Bash)
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible
- Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
- Knowledge of technology for storing and delivering secrets to microservices (Hashicorp Vault)
- Experience with cloud platform (GCP) and understanding of cloud-native architectures
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally with excellent communication and collaboration skills
