Description For Commissioning Engineer

Zeeco is seeking a Commissioning Engineer to join their Global Field Service Division. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with industry-leading combustion and environmental systems. The position involves hands-on work with mechanical systems, including flare systems, boiler burners, and thermal oxidizers.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintaining complex mechanical systems while ensuring compliance with safety standards. You'll work directly with clients, providing technical support and training, while managing on-site projects and documentation.

This role requires a strong technical background in mechanical engineering, particularly in combustion systems, along with excellent communication skills. The position involves frequent travel across India, working in various industrial environments including confined spaces and heights.

Responsibilities For Commissioning Engineer

  • Commission and troubleshoot mechanical systems including flare systems and thermal oxidizers
  • Conduct maintenance, fault analysis, and installation supervision
  • Prepare Risk Assessment Method Statements (RAMS)
  • Maintain detailed timesheets and commissioning reports
  • Engage with clients and provide technical support and training
  • Supervise on-site turnaround and outage projects
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety policies

Requirements For Commissioning Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Strong technical background in mechanical engineering, combustion and fired equipment
  • Proficiency in reading P&IDs, mechanical drawings, and equipment schematics
  • Experience in oil, gas, or petrochemical industries
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights
  • Willingness to travel frequently across India
