Mechanical Design Engineer

Zeeco is seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join their Thermal Oxidizer Division. This role focuses on providing comprehensive design engineering and technical expertise for thermal oxidizers, pressure vessels, and heat exchangers. The position requires deep knowledge of international engineering codes and standards, particularly ASME and API specifications. As a senior team member, you'll collaborate across multiple disciplines, including Process, Piping, Mechanical, CAD-design, Structural Engineering, and Project Management.

The role offers an opportunity to work on multiple contracts simultaneously, providing technical leadership and ensuring compliance with industry standards. You'll be responsible for reviewing equipment designs, resolving technical issues, and contributing to the development of internal engineering standards. The position involves direct interaction with customers and global teams, requiring strong communication and problem-solving skills.

The ideal candidate will bring 8+ years of industry experience, with at least 5 years focused on static equipment design and pressure vessel manufacturing. Your expertise in ASME Section VIII and various API standards will be crucial for success in this role. This position is based in Tulsa, OK, requiring on-site presence to facilitate close collaboration with cross-functional teams.
