Process Design Engineer

Zeeco's Rental and Rapid Response (R3) Division is seeking a Process Design Engineer to take ownership of process design during bid and execution phases. This role is crucial in delivering quality OEM equipment packages to both domestic and international customers within shortened lead times.

The position offers a unique opportunity to work on various complex systems that must be delivered in critical windows to keep customers operational. As a Process Design Engineer, you'll be responsible for understanding technical specifications, determining appropriate equipment selection, performing process design calculations, and coordinating with other product groups' design engineers.

The role requires a balance between working with limited equipment availability and modifying it for specific applications. You'll interact closely with sales teams and execution groups throughout the project lifecycle, from bid inquiry to project turnover. This position enables exponential experience gain compared to equivalent positions due to the fast-paced nature of the work.

Key aspects of the role include completing detailed process design packages, mass energy balances, risk assessments, and HAZOP coordination. You'll also be involved in equipment commissioning efforts and coordinate with controls engineering departments. The position requires occasional travel to customer sites and the ability to deliver technical presentations.
