Responsibilities For Sales Application Engineer (Flares)

  • Understand customer requirements and needs
  • Review tender documents and customer specifications
  • Carry out process design for flare system and auxiliary equipment
  • Prepare technically feasible and commercial proposals
  • Provide technical support to sales
  • Communicate with customers professionally
  • Float enquiries to sub vendors and evaluate offers
  • Prepare BOM and develop cost estimates
  • Prepare turnover package documents for project team
  • Travel to customer facilities for site support
  • Assist with technical development and risk assessment
  • Set product pricing using established mark-up schedules
  • Coordinate completion of required drawings
  • Follow-up on customer correspondence during quotation phase
  • Visit customers for proposal discussion and negotiation
  • Provide status reports to management
