You'll be responsible for the uptime of the Zego Hosting Platform and services, build relationships with key stakeholders, and champion agile methodologies.
Your responsibilities include:
- Driving improvements to the Zego Hosting Platform at scale
- Defining technical solutions with detailed analysis
- Nurturing a culture of continuous learning and knowledge-sharing
- Leading code reviews and defining coding standards
We're looking for engineers who embrace DevOps culture, with skills in:
- Coding and scripting (Bash, Python)
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Crossplane, Helm)
- AWS cloud services
- Container management (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm)
- Observability tools (Honeycomb, DataDog)
- Networking in cloud environments
- CI/CD pipeline design and optimization

Responsibilities For Senior Systems Engineer
- Drive improvements to the Zego Hosting Platform at scale
- Define technical solutions with detailed analysis of costs, risks, performance, reliability, scalability, and maintainability
- Approach processes critically and identify areas of improvement
- Nurture a culture of continuous learning and knowledge-sharing
- Lead code reviews and define new coding standards
- Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders across Product and Engineering
- Champion agile methodologies, metrics, and tooling
Requirements For Senior Systems Engineer
- Good coding and scripting skills in languages such as Bash and Python
- Experience configuring Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Crossplane, and Helm
- In-depth knowledge of AWS cloud services
- Skilled in container management and orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Service Mesh, and GitOps
- Experienced in leveraging observability tools, such as Honeycomb (OpenTelemetry) and DataDog
- Comprehensive understanding of networking in cloud environments
- Extensive experience designing, implementing, and optimising CI/CD pipelines
