Description For Senior Sales Engineer

ZeroFox is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to drive new business within the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). This role combines technical expertise with sales acumen, focusing on executing technical wins and driving revenue. The position involves working closely with both prospective and established customers, as well as channel partners, to demonstrate and implement ZeroFox's cybersecurity solutions.

The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of security solutions sales engineering experience, with deep knowledge of various security domains including malware, phishing, and social media security. They must be fluent in both English and German, comfortable with technical aspects like API integrations and scripting languages, and ready to travel within the DACH region.

As a Senior Sales Engineer, you'll be responsible for managing technical pre-sales engagements, conducting proof of concepts, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The role requires excellent communication skills to articulate complex technical solutions to both technical and executive audiences. You'll work at the intersection of sales and technology, helping customers understand and implement ZeroFox's advanced cybersecurity platform.

  • Act as a business resource and provide executive level selling practices
  • Proactively manage accounts ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Support Sales organization to ensure timely closing of sales opportunities
  • Liaise between customers and Product Management
  • Communicate technical aspects of product & service offerings
  • Manage Proof of Concept engagements
  • Provide knowledge transfer and support for customers

Requirements For Senior Sales Engineer

  • 5+ years experience selling security solutions in a sales engineering role
  • Verifiable track record of success as an individual contributor
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficient understanding of security domains, malware, phishing, social media security
  • Knowledge of Networking and Security infrastructure devices
  • Experience with JavaScript or Python
  • Experience with Rest API integrations, JSON, Maltego
  • Ability to travel as needed (40% in DACH region)
  • Written and spoken fluency in English and German languages
