As a Data Engineer II, you'll be at the forefront of developing and optimizing our data infrastructure. This role combines technical expertise in database management, ETL processes, and data warehousing with the opportunity to work on systems that power modern banking solutions. You'll be responsible for ensuring data availability, reliability, and security while working with cutting-edge technologies including cloud platforms, distributed systems, and modern data processing tools.

The position offers the chance to work with a diverse team where 70% of roles are in R&D, indicating our strong focus on innovation. You'll be contributing to a platform that has already issued 20M+ cards globally and is actively working with major banks and fintech companies worldwide. This role is perfect for someone who wants to combine their data engineering expertise with real-world impact in the financial technology sector.

The ideal candidate will bring 3-5 years of experience in data engineering, strong programming skills in Python or Java, and expertise in SQL and modern data tools. You'll be working with technologies like Apache Spark, Kubernetes, and distributed SQL engines, while implementing robust data pipelines and maintaining high standards of data quality and security.

Requirements For Data Engineer II
