Software Development Engineer - II (Backend)

As a Software Development Engineer II (Backend), you'll play a crucial role in developing and maintaining server-side applications. You'll work on building a highly-scalable and secure payments platform, discuss solutions with customers, and drive innovation in your area of ownership. You'll use cutting-edge cryptography, mine TBs of data for insights, and build low-level infrastructure to push network performance boundaries.

Key responsibilities include:

• Building a highly-scalable and secure payments platform
• Discussing solutions with customers and ensuring delivery
• Owning one or more platform components
• Working with cutting-edge cryptography
• Deriving insights from large datasets
• Building high-performance network infrastructure
• Participating in recruitment and nurturing of engineers

Required skills:

• 3-5 years of Software Development experience
• Strong understanding of Java (Java 8) and microservices architecture
• Experience with HTTP protocol, Spring Boot, and REST APIs
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL and basic Linux/scripting skills
• Excellent communication skills
