As a Senior Software Engineer in the Spend & Loyalty squad, you'll work on high impact projects, transforming key products as we upgrade our spend and loyalty products. You'll be solving complex, interesting challenges at scale using the latest tech.
Key responsibilities:
- Work alongside product to build reliable and scalable initiatives across Zip's Spend & Loyalty systems.
- Ensure solutions can balance between delivery and quality.
- Work cross-functionally to integrate with broader Zip services such as Fraud, Accounts, and Core Product.
What you'll bring:
- Technical expertise in Java or Kotlin (required).
- Experience working with microservices and event-driven architectures, ideally with Kafka.
- Experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
- Experience with solution design and delivery.
- Exposure to working with FE technologies like React.
- Love of sharing knowledge and mentoring other team members.
- Aptitude for identifying and managing risks.
