Responsibilities For Senior DevOps Engineer
- Work within an infrastructure that is capable of handling billions of dollars in transactions quickly and securely
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design and deploy integrated solutions for Fortune 100 companies
- Develop automated upgrade systems for a constantly evolving Azure architecture
- Maintain a complex event sourcing environment using CQRS principles
- Design tooling to enable quick engineering turn-around using technologies like AWX, Terraform, Env0, and Azure DevOps Pipelines
- Monitor for service health and create automatic recoveries using metrics-based canaries to ensure reliable code deployment
Requirements For Senior DevOps Engineer
- 6+ years of experience in DevOps or Systems Administration
- 4+ years of experience using Kubernetes or similar microservice architecture
- 4+ years of experience working in an Azure environment
- Experience working in an agile environment and knowledge of agile practices
- Knowledge of IaC best practices and experience with IaC tools like Terraform, Chef, Puppet or Ansible
- Experience with CI/CD systems preferably using Azure DevOps
- Strong understanding of networking and routing protocols especially those involved in Service Mesh architectures
- Must be able to work in an on-call rotation
