Software Engineer, Spend & Loyalty

Join Zip's Technology function as a Software Engineer in the Spend & Loyalty team. You'll be responsible for building and maintaining seamless, secure, and sustainable platforms that enable customers to shop with confidence and merchant partners to grow their brands. The Payments squad works with the latest tech to solve complex, interesting challenges at scale.

Your role will involve developing and maintaining the spend and loyalty system, ensuring solutions balance delivery and quality, collaborating with team members, and working with cross-functional teams to deliver on FY25 Engineering Initiatives.

Key requirements include:

• Expertise in Java or Kotlin with Spring Boot
• Experience with relational databases (SQL Server or PostgreSQL)
• Exposure to modern, event-driven architecture
• Experience with Agile Development, Design Patterns, and TDD
• Aptitude for identifying and managing risks
