Zipdev is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer with expertise in WordPress, PHP, API development, Python, MySQL, and AWS. The role focuses on designing and maintaining backend systems for web applications. Responsibilities For Sr Backend Engineer (PHP, Wordpress & Python)
- Customize and optimize WordPress themes and plugins
- Develop custom WordPress plugins to extend functionality
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable PHP code for backend applications
- Design and develop RESTful APIs for internal and external applications
- Integrate third-party APIs to enhance system capabilities
- Develop and maintain backend scripts and automation using Python
- Design and optimize MySQL databases for performance and scalability
- Deploy and manage applications on AWS infrastructure
- Implement security best practices in cloud environments
Requirements For Sr Backend Engineer (PHP, Wordpress & Python)
- 6+ years of working experience as a Back-End Engineer
- Proficiency in PHP with experience in WordPress development
- Strong knowledge of API development
- Experience in Python for backend scripting and automation
- Expertise in MySQL database design, queries, and optimization
- Hands-on experience with AWS services
- Understanding of version control systems (Git)
- Ability to write clean, scalable, and well-documented code
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Experience working in agile development environments
