Responsibilities For Wordpress & Shopify Developer
- Work on multiple client projects for multiple teams
- Develop new user-facing features
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Develop and maintain both WordPress and Shopify themes within best practices
- Code pages as close to 'pixel perfect' as possible
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
- Take ownership of projects and optimization
- Communicate clearly and openly with all team members
- Develop and build out responsive emails and email templates
- Manage project tasks, timelines, and communication
- Perform routine site maintenance as needed
Requirements For Wordpress & Shopify Developer
- 3+ years of relevant work experience as a front-end developer
- Advanced understanding of HTML5, CSS3
- Proficient understanding of SASS
- Proficient understanding of JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
- Proficient in WordPress theme development
- Proficient knowledge of custom Shopify theme development and Liquid
- Experience building custom designs with Elementor and Webflow
- Good understanding of AJAX
- Proficient knowledge of task runners like Gulp and Grunt
- Basic understanding of PHP and MySQL
- Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility
- Proficient understanding of Git
- Good understanding of technical SEO principles
- Experience with third-party APIs
- Basic understanding of back-end services
- Experience with React and Angular is a plus
