Zivaro is seeking a Senior Software Engineer IV to support the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) on their Integrated Tactical Warning/Attack Assessment program. This role is crucial in deploying and maintaining secure Kubernetes environments for defense applications. The position combines DevSecOps practices with aerospace defense requirements, offering a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in a mission-critical environment.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining Kubernetes clusters, implementing DevSecOps pipelines, and ensuring platform security and stability. Responsibilities For Software Engineer IV - 1006

  • Creation and sustainment of Kubernetes clusters
  • Installation, Configuration, testing, and sustainment of DevSecOps tools
  • Integration and automation of the DevSecOps tools to enable CI/CD
  • Implementing automation in cluster and tool creation
  • Implementing process and procedures for utilizing the DevSecOps Pipeline
  • Maintenance of the DevSecOps pipeline to ensure availability
  • Rapid resolution of DevSecOps pipeline issues
  • Establish initial DevSecOps environment in a SIL on a RedHat Linux environment
  • Develop code in accordance with coding and security standards
  • Working within agile processes for short cycle, fast-paced delivery

  • 6+ years directly related IT experience
  • 7 years general work experience
  • 3+ years experience with containerized/cloud platforms and DevSecOps
  • 2+ years experience deploying and maintaining VMWare Tanzu clusters
  • Experience with containerization and microservices
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code
  • Active Secret Security clearance (Top Secret preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • IAT Level II certification required
  • Experience with Kubernetes and OpenShift
  • Cloud architecture experience
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
  • U.S. Citizenship required
