Zivaro is seeking a Systems Engineer I to join their Mission Engineering team supporting critical defense and space operations. The role is based at the NORAD Cheyenne Mountain Complex (NCMC) and involves working on Integrated Tactical Warning/Attack Assessment (ITW/AA) systems.   • Develop and maintain physical, functional, and technical requirements baselines
  • Work with systems, software and specialty engineers to develop solutions
  • Perform use case development and prepare systems engineering artifacts
  • Support development and review of interface documents and system requirements
  • Write and implement engineering plans within a project
  • Develop Epics and Features for Cross-Functional Product Teams
  • Analyze and propose changes to systems engineering analysis
  • Develop Verification Cross Reference Matrix (VCRM)

Requirements For Systems Engineer I - 1007

  • Active Secret Security clearance required (Top Secret preferred)
  • Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Math
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience
  • DoD 8570 certification at IAT Level II or higher
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Understanding of systems engineering process and principles
  • Experience with systems engineering artifacts
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
  • Familiarity with requirements management tools (e.g. DOORS)
