Senior Software Engineer, Analytics Platform

The Analytics Platform team, established in late 2024, is a crucial part of the Data Infrastructure team that's reshaping how data analysis and metrics enable machine learning, data science, engineering, and safety analysis. The team works with cutting-edge big data technologies including AWS, Databricks, Spark, Parquet, and DuckDB to transform petabytes of structured data into efficient, queryable formats.

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Analytics Platform team, you'll be working with world-class engineers to tackle complex challenges involving hundreds of petabytes of data. You'll be instrumental in developing both event-based and schedule-based processing frameworks, utilizing technologies like Airflow, Spark, AWS EMR, and DuckDB. The role requires expertise in Python and Spark for large-scale data processing, along with significant experience in AWS services and Databricks.

The position offers a competitive compensation package including a salary range of $215,000 to $300,000, Amazon RSUs, and Zoox Stock Appreciation Rights.
