Senior/Staff Software Engineer - Simulation Graphics and AI/ML

Zoox, an innovative autonomous vehicle company, is seeking a Senior/Staff Software Engineer to join their 3D Simulation group. This role focuses on simulating sensors (lidar, radar, cameras) by combining modern graphics with GenAI/ML techniques to bridge the gap between simulation and reality. The role involves working with cutting-edge technology in autonomous vehicle development, specifically in sensor simulation and synthetic data generation. You'll collaborate with multiple teams including Sensor Sim, Perception, and V&V to enhance sensor simulation fidelity. Your work will be crucial in creating high-fidelity synthetic data for training and testing AV AI, as well as real-time sensor data for hardware-in-the-loop simulation.
