Senior/Staff Software Engineer - Simulation Scenario Generation

Zoox, a pioneering company in autonomous vehicle technology, is seeking a Senior/Staff Software Engineer specializing in Simulation Scenario Generation. This role is crucial for Zoox's mission to develop the first ground-up, fully autonomous vehicle fleet. As a Senior/Staff Software Engineer, you'll be responsible for developing Python platforms for large-scale generation of autonomous driving scenarios. Your work will directly contribute to Zoox's ability to rapidly iterate on driving software and hardware, and validate safety before real-world implementation. Key responsibilities include procedurally generating relevant driving scenarios in given geographic areas and defining scenario concepts for simulation.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Computer Science with at least 8 years of experience in a related field, including 4+ years of industry experience developing in Python. Additional experience with C++, TypeScript, Vue, or Three.js would be advantageous. Knowledge of robotics, autonomous vehicles, simulation, or game development is a plus.
