Software Engineer, Analytics Platform

Zoox, an innovative company revolutionizing transportation through autonomous robotaxis, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for their Analytics Platform team. Established in late 2024, this team is crucial to the Data Infrastructure organization, focusing on modernizing data analysis and metrics for machine learning, data science, and safety analysis.

The role involves working with cutting-edge big data technologies, processing tens of petabytes of data using AWS and Databricks. You'll be developing an event-based processing framework and maintaining a comprehensive Data Lake that unifies vehicle, rider, and simulation data. The position offers competitive compensation, including a salary range of $185,000-$240,000, plus Amazon RSUs and Zoox Stock Appreciation Rights.

As a senior engineer, you'll collaborate with world-class professionals, tackling complex challenges in autonomous transportation. The role requires expertise in Python, Spark, and large-scale data processing, with additional knowledge of C++ and Apache Airflow. You'll be responsible for enhancing system observability, building monitoring tools, and working cross-functionally with various teams.
