Zoox, a company at the forefront of the transportation revolution, is seeking a Software Engineer for Simulation Workload Orchestration. This role is crucial in building self-driving vehicles to make personal transportation safer, cleaner, and more enjoyable for everyone.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll be responsible for developing a massively scalable pipeline for orchestrating the execution of simulations and processing results. This mission-critical system will be highly parallel, manage various execution stages, ensure correct data flow, and coordinate result processing. It's an ideal opportunity for an innovative engineer to build the foundation that can exponentially scale up simulation execution while meeting diverse processing needs.

Key responsibilities include designing the simulation execution pipeline for exponential growth, integrating with other systems via message queues, collaborating on requirements and API design, leading development of highly scalable features, and ensuring 24/7 system stability.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, excellent Python skills, and 5+ years of experience. You should have expertise in designing complex data processing systems at scale, experience with workflow management systems, and knowledge of distributed systems using asynchronous communication.
