Backend Engineer

Zscaler, a NASDAQ-listed company founded in 2007, is the world's largest security cloud operator serving 40% of Fortune 500 companies. We're seeking a Backend Engineer to join our Information Technology teams, reporting to the Senior Manager of Data Science. This role combines cloud computing, backend development, and machine learning expertise.

The position involves developing scalable cloud services, implementing ML models including LLMs, and managing data pipelines. You'll work with cutting-edge technologies across AWS, GCP, Azure, and Snowflake, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize backend solutions.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of backend development experience, strong knowledge of cloud platforms, and expertise in Python, SQL, and machine learning frameworks. You should be comfortable with modern data stack tools and have experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
