- Developing and maintaining high-quality, scalable backend services using Java/Spring Boot and Python
- Delivering high quality features for high-scale web environment
- Monitoring the performance and cost of services in production
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
- Integrating with other team members and mentoring junior engineers
Requirements For Backend Engineer
- 3+ years of proven backend development experience using Java/Spring Boot
- 1+ years of experience with Python
- Experience working in microservices environment, including AWS, Kubernetes, SQS, and Tilt
- Experience with client side development using React (preferred)
- Proficiency in data stores such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Snowflake, and Elastic (preferred)
