Responsibilities For Data Center Operations (DCO) Engineer

  • Install servers and network infrastructure into production data centers
  • Install structured fiber optic plants in production data centers
  • Troubleshoot issues within production data center infrastructure
  • Collaborate with other teams to schedule and execute break/fix activities
  • Plan and schedule installations, maintenance, and break/fix activities

Requirements For Data Center Operations (DCO) Engineer

Linux
  • 5 or more years of experience working with Production Data Center environments
  • U.S. citizenship required
  • Deep understanding of servers, network devices, optics, fiber, copper
  • Experience with engaging remote Data Center Smart Hands
  • Experience with LINUX/UNIX command line, BIOS, OOB management
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds repeatedly
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 50% of time
