Description For DevSecOps Engineer

As a DevSecOps Engineer at Zscaler, you'll join our Engineering team that built and maintains the world's largest cloud security platform, protected by over 100 patents. You'll work alongside cloud architects, software engineers, and security experts, reporting to a Director of Engineering.

Your role will involve designing and implementing CI/CD systems for mission-critical distributed applications on Zscaler Private and Public clouds. You'll manage DevSecOps tools, ensure code and infrastructure security, and automate infrastructure provisioning. The position offers exposure to cutting-edge technologies including AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, and various security scanning tools.

Responsibilities For DevSecOps Engineer

  • Design/Architect, Implement, and support end to end CI/CD systems
  • Assist developers with merging, resolving conflicts, and managing pre-commit hooks
  • Manage security of code, applications and infrastructure
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration (IaC)
  • Track and monitor build metrics

Requirements For DevSecOps Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 4+ years hands-on experience managing AWS, Google Cloud (GCP) and/or Private Cloud Environments
  • Strong application development/Automation experience with OOPS languages
  • Experience with SAST, SCA, DAST, Secret scans and security tools
  • Experience with container orchestration technologies
  • Experience with Git and GitOps based pipelines
