Description For DevSecOps Engineer

The role offers an opportunity to work with cutting-edge cloud security technology and contribute to a platform serving over 15 million users across 185 countries.

As a DevSecOps Engineer reporting to a Director of Engineering, you'll be instrumental in designing and implementing CI/CD systems for mission-critical distributed applications across private and public clouds. The position requires expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP), security scanning tools, and infrastructure automation. You'll work with a team of cloud architects, software engineers, and security experts who are passionate about building and innovating for the greater good.

The ideal candidate brings 4+ years of hands-on cloud environment management experience, strong development skills in object-oriented programming languages, and extensive knowledge of security scanning tools and container orchestration technologies. Responsibilities For DevSecOps Engineer

  • Design/Architect, implement, and support end-to-end CI/CD systems for mission-critical distributed applications
  • Assist developers with merging, resolving conflicts, creating and managing pre-commit hooks
  • Manage DevSecOps tools administration
  • Ensure security of code, applications and infrastructure
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration
  • Track and monitor build metrics

Requirements For DevSecOps Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
  • 4+ years hands-on experience in managing AWS, Google Cloud (GCP) and/or Private Cloud Environments
  • Strong application development/Automation experience with OOPS languages
  • Experience with SAST, SCA, DAST, Secret scans and security tools
  • Experience with container orchestration technologies
  • Experience with Git and GitOps based pipelines
