Description For IT Helpdesk Engineer

Zscaler, a leading cloud security company, is seeking an experienced IT Helpdesk Engineer to join their team in Mohali, India. As part of the Information Technology team, you'll play a crucial role in supporting and scaling the company's operations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing technical assistance for all incoming IT Helpdesk requests
  • Resolving issues related to computer systems, applications, services, software, LAN, WAN, and hardware
  • Managing PC/Laptop setup and deployment for new employees
  • Maintaining daily performance and monitoring of computer systems, inventory, and software licenses

Requirements:

  • 3-8 years of experience in IT Helpdesk
  • Strong background in TCP/IP and IP networking knowledge
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Exchange / Gmail, Microsoft Windows OS, and Office Applications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Phone System, VoIP, VMWare ESX/ESXi, vSphere, vCenter, and VMware Server
  • Experience with Linux OS and basic services
  • Microsoft Active Directory experience and Windows networking
