Principal Engineer - ZDX Data & AI

Zscaler, the world's largest security cloud operator, is seeking a Principal Engineer to lead technical initiatives in ZDX Data & AI. Founded in 2007, Zscaler serves thousands of enterprise customers, including 40% of Fortune 500 companies, through its AI-powered Zero Trust Exchange platform. The role involves architecting and building scalable distributed systems with a focus on automation, user experience, and resilience.

The successful candidate will work with cloud platforms like AWS and Azure, manage containerized applications using Kubernetes, and demonstrate expertise in Linux systems. This position requires 10+ years of experience in platform engineering, proficiency in Go, Python, or Java, and strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure.

As a Principal Engineer, you'll join a team that has built the world's largest cloud security platform, protected by over 100 patents, serving more than 15 million users across 185 countries. You'll report to the Director of Platform Engineering and play a crucial role in driving innovation and efficiency across the platform.
