Principal Software Engineer, Identity and Access Management

Zscaler, a leading cloud security company, is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to join their Identity and Access Management team. This role is crucial in managing digital risk through identity integration and controls. The ideal candidate will participate in designing and implementing the Adaptive Access Engine, build and scale identity signal ingestion from various sources, and develop data models to correlate risks associated with users and devices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement the Adaptive Access Engine
• Collaborate across teams to deliver projects from inception to production
• Build scalable data pipelines and risk models
• Develop data models for correlating risks associated with users and devices

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of software development experience in large-scale enterprise software
• BS/MS degree in Engineering or Computer Science
• Expert-level knowledge in Enterprise Java, OOP, OOA, systems architecture, and RESTful APIs
• Experience with Probabilistic Data Structures and big data analytics

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes and container infrastructure
