Responsibilities For Principal Engineer (ZDX Platform)
- Architect and build robust, scalable, and efficient distributed systems with a focus on an Automation-First, User-Centric, and Resilience-Oriented approach
- Leverage deep knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure to design and optimize cloud-native solutions
- Design, deploy, and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes and its ecosystem, ensuring security, high availability, and performance
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of the modern TCP/IP stack and manage systems running on Linux
Requirements For Principal Engineer (ZDX Platform)
- 10+ years of experience in platform engineering with a focus on distributed systems and large-scale production environments
- Proficiency in at least one programming language: Go, Python, or Java
- Hands-on experience with cloud providers such as AWS and Azure
- Strong expertise in operating large scale Kubernetes, its associated tools, and ecosystems, particularly in Linux-based environments
- Familiarity with complex system architectures, design patterns, and tradeoffs
