We're seeking an experienced Product Support Engineer to join our Product Support team. Reporting to the Manager of Product Support, you'll be responsible for providing Tier II support, debugging complex security/network problems, collaborating with Engineering for testing and troubleshooting, and reproducing customer issues to provide feedback to Engineering and Operations teams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing phone/email consultation for complex security/network problems
  • Collaborating with Engineering for customer testing and troubleshooting
  • Reproducing and verifying customer issues

Responsibilities For Product Support Engineer

  • Provide phone/email consultation to independently debug complex security/network problems for Tier II support
  • Work with Engineering and assist customers with testing or troubleshooting
  • Reproduce customer issues to verify problems and provide feedback to Engineering and Operations team

Requirements For Product Support Engineer

Linux
  • 6+ years of experience in technical support or a related area
  • University degree in IT or related field
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting, debugging, and customer satisfaction
  • In-depth understanding of enterprise networks and infrastructure, TCP/IP
  • Experience with Internet protocols: HTTP, SMTP, DNS, LDAP, and FTP
  • Experience with open source system administration: Windows, Linux, FreeBSD
  • Ability to read packet captures (Wireshark)
