Responsibilities For Product Support Engineer II

  • Provide second line phone/email consultation to debug complex security/network problems
  • Work with Engineering and assist customers with testing or troubleshooting
  • Create entries in technical support online database for incident resolution
  • Promote team environment by assisting fellow Zscaler employees
  • Contribute to product and code changes through all points of the product cycle

Requirements For Product Support Engineer II

Linux
Python
  • 5+ years experience as Support Engineer supporting networking or web security products
  • Experience with Linux, Unix, and Free BSD operating systems
  • Experience troubleshooting network issues and familiarity with tools (Ping, Traceroute, MTR)
  • Experience with protocols such as HTTP, SMTP, FTP, and DNS
  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent advanced industry certifications (preferred)
  • Script knowledge (SHELL, Python) (preferred)
  • Zscaler product experience (preferred)
