Responsibilities For Resident Engineer

  • Collaborate with Zscaler Professional Services team
  • Integrate Zscaler solutions into customer's environment
  • Provide configuration guidance and best practices
  • Assist customers with testing and troubleshooting
  • Provide regular status reports for critical incidents
  • Respond to unplanned events including after hours Severity 1 issues

Requirements For Resident Engineer

Linux
  • 6+ years of experience as Resident Engineer, Professional Services Consultant, or Support Engineer
  • Familiarity with IPSEC, GRE, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS protocols, Proxy, SSL, SSL Inspection, and authentication systems
  • Experience with systems installation and network administration
  • Meets DoD 8570 IATII or 8140 Cyber Def Infra Support Specialist requirements
  • Active US SECRET clearance or higher
  • Knowledge of network troubleshooting tools
