Description For Sales Engineer

Zscaler, a leader in cloud security, is seeking a Sales Engineer to join their Commercial team in Germany. This remote position reports to the Sales Engineering Manager and involves presenting the Zscaler cloud security platform to prospective customers, setting visions, translating goals into recommendations, and being a trusted advisor to clients during their transformational journey.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Presenting the Zscaler cloud security platform to prospective customers
  • Setting vision and translating goals into enticing recommendations
  • Being a trusted advisor to clients during their transformational journey
  • Gathering customer technical requirements and promoting value propositions in presentations and demos

Minimum Qualifications:

  • More than 2 years of experience as a Sales Engineer, Network or Security Engineer
  • Proficiency in network topologies and practical experience with enterprise or cloud security technologies
  • Fluency in German

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with systems installation, configuration, and administration of UNIX/Linux and Windows-based systems (Active Directory/LDAP experience desirable)
  • Experience solving customer issues with an analytical approach
  • Experience communicating complex technical solutions to a non-technical audience
